Initial Consultation
An Initial Consultation takes place between the consultant and the client. This meeting may occur in person, via Zoom, or by phone. The goal is to determine the goals and needs of the client.
Generally, the initial consultation takes between 30 and 60 minutes, the fee for which is $75.00.
Information and Resources
Your PS Resources Representative will gather information and create a list of resources to share with the client, based upon the client's interests and needs.
Information and Resources may include, but are not limited to, a list of names of schools that might meet client needs, a list of available programs that provide opportunities for social interaction, contact information for agencies, or names of businesses that are hiring and meet client work preferences.
After the initial consultation, a contract listing the services to be provided and the cost for each service, will be developed. In general, the fee for "Information and Resources" is $50.00/hour. (An initial list of resources usually doesn't take more than 1 or 2 hours of research.)
Direct Services
Through Direct Services, a PS Resources Consultant will meet "face to face" with the client to provide instruction, training, and practice as needed.
Direct Services may include, but are not limited to, assistance filling out job applications, practicing for interviews, job searching, job coaching, or preparation to take the test for a Learner's Permit to drive.
For Direct Services, the fee is $50.00/hour plus mileage. If more than 10 miles, the fee for round trips from Herndon, VA, to client location, is $1.00/mile. If round trip is less than 10 miles, there is no mileage charge.
